INTRODUCTION
HORIZONTAL RECTANGULAR AUTOCLAVE is based on the principle that microbiological action of saturated steam at elevated temp is rapid and thorough. All models work on downward displacement of air principle which is most economical method of obtaining for all types of bulk sterilization which are commonly needed in Medical, Agricultural, Research Institute, Pharmaceutical. Suitable for sterilizing hospital dressings, rubber plastic goods, surgical instruments, glass wares etc.
CONSTRUCTION
Robust and rugged all weld construction
Which is leak proof fun like riveted construction. Inner chamber is made of thick plate of Mild Steel of non magnetic stainless steel of 304/316 quality and jacket is made out of rolled steel . Sterilizers will have single door made out of rolled steel lined with S.S. 304 sheet on both sides. All the sterilizers are hydraulically tested to withstand 2.5kg/cm2 times the working pressure. The steam jacket is lined on the outer side with asbestos sheet or glass wool which prevents heat losses due to radiation and is covered by SS 304 Sheet.
BOILER (STEAM GENERATOR)
Made of thick stainless steel plate suitably located under the sterilizer. High grade flanged type heating elements are fitted from front side for easy replacement/repair.
Fitted with water gauge glass for water level, safety valve, water inlet and drain valves. It is also provided with Low Water Level cut off device. This device protects the heater in the generator from burning outdry. The steam pressure in the boiler is indicated on an individual pressure gauge.
DOOR SAFETY LOCK
Every Horizontal Rectangular Autoclave is fitted with SELF LOCKING
SAFETY DOOR which cannot be opened when the chamber is under pressure. The Clutch mechanism automatically disengages the threads of the radial locking system for precluding any eventuality ofN accident when the chamber is under pressure. A heat resistant Neoprene Rubber gasket ensure steam tight fitting.
PRESSURE CONTROL
Electrically operated “PIEZOSTAT” (Pressure Control Device) is incorporated in all Electrically operated sterilizers. It economies power consumption and limits the use of release valve which would frequently blow steam into the room. It cuts off the power supply to heaters when the set pressure is achieved and re-energies heaters when pressure falls down.
STERILIZATION
Complete sterilizing cycle is controlled from one point with the help of “Multi port valve” fitted at front top.
Two speeds of exhaust are available for evacuating.
THE CHAMBER
Two safety Valves Two separate valves provided for evacuating air and steam from inner chamber and jacket as and when desired. A steam trap is fitted in the chamber discharge line to eliminate the condensate automatically.

CONSTRUCTION
Triple walled with steam jacket and separate boiler Inner chamber and steam jacket are made up of Heavy gauge S.S. 316/304 Sheet with leak proof argon-arc welding . The sterilizer has single piece door made of stainless steel 316/304. Back plate and ring is also made of thick stainless steel sheet. All the sterilizers are hydraulically tested to with stand 2.5kg/cm2 times the working pressure. Mounted on tubular steel frame with ground leveling screwed flanges. The Outer jacket is wrapped with asbestos sheet or glass wool to minimize the heat losses due to radiation and is covered by polished stainless steel sheet for that elegant appearance.
STEAM GENERATOR
Made of heavy stainless steel sheet. Heavy ring mounted in front of the boiler with folding thick stainless steel plate is fitted with heating elements and low water level cutoff device to protect the former from
burning out dry. Front folding plate system provides for easy cleaning of the deposited scale on the elements and the walls for long life and e efficiency. Fitted with water gauge glass for water level indication, water inlet and outlet valves.
PRESSURE CONTROL
The “PIEZOSTAT” (Pressure control device) is incorporated in all electrically operated sterilizers. I t economizes on power consumption and reduces the frequent opening of the steam release valve and thus prevents the release of steam in the room, It cuts off the power supply to heaters when the set pressure is achieved and reenergizes the heating elements when pressure falls below the set point.
HEATING ELEMENTS
Flanged type, immersion heating elements is made of high grade material and duly ISI marked.
SAFETY DOOR
Sterilizer has hinged self-locking single piece thick S.S. 316/304 plate door and cannot be opened when under pressure. The self-locking device automatically disengages the thread mechanism when the sterilizer is under pressure to preclude any eventuality of accident.
SINGLE POINT CONTROL
Complete sterilizing cycle is controlled from one point with the help of “Multiport Valve” fitted at front top. Two speeds of steam exhaust are available; fast and slow. Easily readable jacket and chamber pressure on gauges mounted on the multi port valve. A moisture trap is fitted in the chamber discharge line to absorb the condensate automatically to prevent moistening of the subject matter to be sterilized.

CABINET CONSTRUCTION
Double walled construction with inner chamber made of Stainless Steel 304 and outer body made of mild steel duly powder coated/ Stainless Steel 304. High density polyurethane (PUF) insulation of desired thickness is filled between the walls and the whole structure is mounted on heavy duty castors for easy
removability. Trays to carry bodies with handles at both ends slide on rollers/three pieces Telescopic Chanel carriage assembly. Front opening, hinged stainless steel insulated doors lined with gasket, handle and lock arrangement with keys in duplicate for individual dead bodies. A double door system including the transparent inner acrylic door helps in viewing without disturbing the thermal conditions.
REFRIGERATION SYSTEM
The refrigeration unit is kept outside the chamber for easy maintenance. Strong and reliable with power full quick response refrigeration system helps in achieving the desired temperature within a short period of time even at high ambient conditions. A highly efficient hermetically sealed compressor with air cooled condenser having the evaporator inside the chamber is used. A forced air type circulation is used to maintain uniform temperature inside the chamber. CFC free eco friendly commercially available refrigerant is used.
DIGITAL FULLY AUTOMATIC MICROPROCESSOR CONTROL
A fully automatic dedicated microprocessor helps in monitoring all the functions of the Mortuary Chamber the Advanced microprocessor monitors the chamber temperature in real time to prevent body decomposition and to maintain the set value of temperature. The temperature is selectable between -2°C to 8°C with a resolution of 0.1° C. The front soft touch keypads permits control settings and access to default settings. An inbuilt feature for setting the compressor rest time is also provided.
The microprocessor also monitors the incoming voltage. If the incoming voltage lies in a particular
range, the LED will show OK and the refrigeration unit will function. If the incoming voltage is either
Low or High, the LED will show Low or High and the refrigeration unit will be switched off for safety
reasons. The bright LEDs display the Set and the Read Values of temperature. Both audio and visual
alarms alert if there is any deviation of temperature or voltage
An inbuilt automatic defrost enhances hassle free operation. The complete temperature control panel
is mounted on front for easy readability and operation.
Power Requirement: - The instrument is designed to operate on 220V AC Supply.
